Male Golfer of the Year

Will Grevlos

Sioux Falls

Will and his partner Tyler Westra won the SDGA Two-Man Championship and he followed that up with a victory at the SDGA Match Play Championship. Trying to become the first golfer to win the SDGA Slam in the same year (Two-Man, Match Play, and Amateur), Will ended his amateur career with a 10th place finish at the SDGA Amateur Championship.

Female Golfer of the Year

Reese Jansa

SIOUX FALLS

Reese won trophies in all three Women’s Championship. She won the SDGA Women’s Amateur, was a finalist in the SDGA Women’s Match Play, and Runner-Up at the SDGA Two-Woman. Reese will begin her college career at the University of Toledo.

Senior Male Golfer of the Year

Sam Prue

N. Sioux CITY

Sam won the SDGA Senior Championship, making three birdies in the last five holes for a final round 67. Sam was also the Runner-Up at the SDGA Senior Men’s Match Play Championship.

Senior Female Golfer of the Year

Jennifer Stalley

PIERRE

Jennifer won the SDGA Women’s Senior Amateur Championship, finished in 4th place of the Championship Division of the SDGA Two-Woman, and 4th in the Senior Husband-Wife Championship.

Junior Male Golfer of the Year

Jake Olson

Watertown

Jake won the SDGA | Sanford Golf Series Championship, and was the third low qualifier at the SDGA Match Play. He qualified for the US Junior Amateur and came within three strokes of making the cut for match play. Jake is a junior at Watertown HS and also won this award in 2021.

Junior Female Golfer of the Year

Reese Jansa

Sioux Falls

Reese won the SDGA Girls Junior Championship and the SDGA Women’s Amateur, the first to win both in the same year. She is also the first to win both Junior Female and Female Golfer of the Year.
