Male Golfer of the Year
Luke Honner
Sioux Falls
Luke won the SDGA Match Play Championship at Brookings CC. He made it to Final Qualifying for the US Open and also qualified for the US Amateur Championship. Luke plays on the Men’s Golf team at the University of Kansas.
Female Golfer of the Year
Reese Jansa
SIOUX FALLS
Reese won two more SDGA Championships in 2024, starting with the SDGA Two-Woman Championship at Brandon GC with her partner (and mum) Julie Jansa. She also won the SDGA Women’s Amateur Championship at Meadowbrook. Reese is a member of the Women’s Golf team at SDSU.
Senior Male Golfer of the Year
Brad Buche
MITCHELL
Brad won trophies in all three SDGA Men’s Senior events in 2024. He started out with a victory in the SDGA Senior Men’s Match Play Championship at Brookings CC, and followed it up with runner-up finishes in the SDGA Senior Amateur Championship at The Golf Club at Red Rock and the SDGA Senior Two-Man Championship at Bakker Crossing GC.
Senior Female Golfer of the Year
Marna Raburn
Rapid City
Marna won the SDGA Senior Women’s Match Play Championship at Brookings CC, and was the runner-up at the SDGA Senior Women’s Amateur Championship at Hillsview GC, losing in a sudden death playoff.
Junior Male Golfer of the Year
Riley Christensen

Riley won the SDGA Boy’s Junior Championship at The Bluffs GC in dramatic fashion, holing a shot from 118 yards for eagle on the 4th playoff hole. He was 6th at the SDGA Amateur Championship and had one win on the SDGA | Sanford Golf Series and was runner-up at the Series Championship at Minnehaha CC.
Junior Female Golfer of the Year
Olivia Braun

Olivia won the SDGA Girl’s Junior Championship at The Bluffs GC. She was also a finalist at the SDGA Women’s Match Play Championship at Brookings CC and the runner-up at the SDGA Women’s Amateur Championship at Meadowbrook GC.
