MISSION
The mission of the SDGA Junior Golf Foundation is to support junior golf activities across South Dakota. The Foundation awards six or more $1,500 scholarships annually to junior golfers who are attending a post-secondary institution. The main focus of the Foundation is First Tee — South Dakota, which uses golf to teach core values, healthy habits, and life skills to young people across South Dakota.
At First Tee — South Dakota we enable kids to build the strength of character that empowers them through a lifetime of new challenges. By seamlessly integrating the game of golf with life skills curriculum, we create learning experiences that build inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience that kids can carry to everything they do.
