2026 SDGA JUNIOR TOUR
presented by the Sanford International
The SDGA Junior Tour aims to provide accessible and competitive opportunities for junior golfers in South Dakota and the surrounding region.
Three Tours Serving One Mission allows beginning to advanced youth participants to enjoy events which accommodate each level of playing ability.
The Mini, Prep and Series Tours each delivers an exceptional experience on quality courses set to an optimal length for each age division.
SDGA Mini Tour
Beginner
The Mini Tour is designed for 7-13 year-olds with limited or no competitive golf experience. These 9-hole stroke play events include divisions for boys and girls in 9 & under, 10-11, and 12-13 age groups. Juniors have the option to register and compete in an older age group in any tournament if they choose. There is also an intermediate boys 12-13 18-hole division as part of the Prep Tour. 12-13 year old girls that wish to play 18 holes at high school length have the option to play up to the 14-15 girls division on the Prep Tour.
Both the Mini and Prep Tours hold competitions across four distinct Regions, and members are free to participate in any regional event.
Caddies are permitted on the Mini Tour.

SDGA Prep Tour
Intermediate
This Tour offers 18-hole competitions for golfers aged 12-18. It’s ideal for juniors who want to develop their competitive skills in a relaxed setting, and also serves as excellent preparation for high school golf.
Divisions are available for both boys and girls with age groups spanning 14-15 and 16-18, as well as an 18-hole intermediate boys 12-13 division. Juniors can play-up into an older age group when registering for any event.
Events for both the Mini and Prep Tours are held across four Regions, and members are welcome to compete in any regional event.

SDGA | Sanford International Series Tour
Advanced
Designed for aspiring collegiate golfers, the SDGA | Sanford International Series helps players make an impact on their high school teams. It features several multi-day, 36-hole stroke play competitions, to prepare them for the collegiate level.
There are divisions for boys and girls. High school players are eligible to apply for membership. To be considered, please submit a cover letter and a competitive resume to SDGASanfordSeries@sdga.org. Priority will be given to sophomores, juniors and seniors, and players with SDGA Prep Tour experience and success.
