South Dakota Juniors Tee It Up at The Masters – Drive, Chip, & Putt

South Dakota’s very own junior golfers Lincoln Trasamar and Lauren Wolthuizen will be competing in this year’s Drive, Chip and Putt at Augusta National on April 3rd, 2022.  Lincoln Trasamar is from Sioux Falls and will be competing in the boys 7-9 age division. Lauren Wolthuzien is also from Sioux Falls and will be competing in the girls 7-9 age division. Along with competing in this year’s Drive, Chip and Putt Lincoln and Lauren have had outstanding careers as junior golfers at such a young age. Lincoln shot his career low last year of 34 at the SDGA Junior Championship. Lauren has shot 46 on 9 holes and 95 on 18 holes for her lowest rounds as a junior golfer.

The Drive, Chip and Putt is a national competition in which contestants compete against each other showcasing their skills in driving, chipping and putting for the chance to go to the National Championship at Augusta National, home of The Masters. Each participant had to go through three qualifying stages to reach the National Championship.  You can watch Lincoln and Lauren compete live on the Golf Channel at 8:00 AM the morning of April 3rd.
