Player Bio

Coralee Jorgensen is currently the Executive Director of The First Tee of South Dakota, a position she took in 2013 after serving as the head golf professional from 2001 at Westward Ho Country Club in Sioux Falls (now The Country Club of Sioux Falls). She has been recognized by Golf Digest as the Best Teacher in South Dakota, previously served as the PGA advisor to the SDGA board of directors and has been elected into the President’s Council for the PGA of America. A standout high school and college golfer, Jorgensen was the Class B state champion for Irene High School in 1978 and the runner-up a year earlier. At the University of South Dakota, where she served as team captain from 1979-81, she led USD to the AIAW state title and was also the 1980 AIAW regional medalist. She was an assistant at Westward Ho CC from 1983-87 and was also an assistant professional at Oswego Lake Country Club in Lake Oswego, Oregon from 1987 to 1998.
