Ila Michael

Ila Michael became the 19th person to be inducted into the SDGA Hall of Fame. Her golfing accomplishments include winning the SDGA Women’s State Senior Championship six times. She was also the Women’s Stroke Play Champion and the Two-Woman Best Ball Net Division Champion. Ila was the SDGA Women’s State Senior Championship runner-up 3 times. She was also a 16-time Elks Ladies Champion and a Meadowbrook Golf Club Ladies Champion 3 times. Ila was the Senior Female Golfer of the Year in 1986 and 1987. She served on the USGA Women’s Public Links Committee for 6 years and assisted in the Junior Golf program at the Elks Club in Rapid City.
